With the direction of TRAI, all mobile operators should allow their
users for National wide Mobile Number portability by the end of July.
Bharti Airtel has officially announced that National wide Mobile Number portability will be effective to its customers from July 3rd and to be counted the first telecom operator to introduce it. With this portability option Airtel users now can switch to any telecom operator of their choice and retain it within India.
As earlier to MNP with in the states the same verification procedure will be followed for their Number portability which takes 24 Hours. Along with Airtel, Vodafone to roll out National wide Mobile Number portability from 3rd of July.
